Historic Nebo

Signs have been erected on the Peak Downs Highway to promote the theme of Historic Nebo and to greet people as they travel through Nebo Shire.
As part of the Nebo 2001 Centenary of Federation Celebrations, a "Historic Nebo Monument" was constructed. This monument faces the Peak Downs Highway and acts as a window to the Shire. A fully-sealed visitor parking and truck stop rest area also compliments this area as an informal and easily accessible facility for Peak Downs Highway travellers or visitors to Nebo Shire.
The monument is complemented by the inclusion of a restored windmill,bronzed saddle, and a water tank and stand, which has been converted
